This Privacy Policy describes how CrossDigits (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application CrossDigits (the “App”) on iOS.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App and your device settings, the following may apply:

Gameplay & app progress stored locally on your device (e.g. levels completed, settings). This data is not sent to our servers unless we add cloud features in the future (this policy would be updated).
Analytics — We may use analytics tools (e.g. Firebase / Google Analytics) to understand how the App is used (e.g. feature usage, crashes). This may include device/app identifiers and event data.
Crash reporting — We may use crash reporting (e.g. Firebase Crashlytics) to diagnose stability issues. Crash reports can include device state and stack traces.
Advertising — The App may show ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) or similar providers. Ad partners may collect or use identifiers to show and measure ads, subject to your choices (including Apple’s App Tracking Transparency where applicable).
In-app purchases — Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive purchase status / product identifiers necessary to unlock features.

Apple’s role: Apple may collect information related to App Store purchases and device accounts under Apple’s own policies.

How we use information

Operate, maintain, and improve the App
Understand usage and fix crashes
Show and measure advertising (where ads are enabled)
Comply with law and respond to valid requests

Legal bases (if applicable)

If GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on appropriate bases such as performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (analytics, security, product improvement), and consent where required (e.g. certain tracking or ads personalization).

Sharing

We may share data with service providers who assist us (e.g. analytics, ads, crash reporting), subject to their terms and appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information as a “sale” under U.S. state privacy laws in the traditional sense; ad partners may use data for advertising as described in their policies.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law. Analytics and crash data may be retained according to our providers’ settings and policies.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your choices

iOS privacy settings — You can limit tracking and reset advertising identifiers in iOS Settings.
App Tracking Transparency — Where presented, you can allow or deny cross-app tracking.
Ads — Ad-free options may be available via in-app purchase where offered.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. We use recognized providers and appropriate safeguards where required.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date.
